changed: - *** Ark Community Meeting May 6th, 2007 at 3 PM *** As mentioned at the last Ark meeting, I, Rex Tuthill, am offering to host the next Ark Community meeting at 3 PM on May 6th at my home, 1187 C.R. 14, Rensselaer Falls, NY (315)344-1215. We can have the usual potluck meal and a discussion about planning and setting dates for ARK members' significant homestead projects that may need the help of other ARK members available to work. Having specific days in mind and bringing your calendars or work schedules to the meeting would be helpful in setting future project dates. I also plan to conduct a short presentation about furbearer trapping at the meeting. I will display and explain various types and sizes of traps, show and identify animal pelts, and talk a bit about ethics and the reasons for trapping. Also, folks might want to bring some chairs, as I only have seats for about 15 people.
